| Abstract |
The E-MRS Fall Meeting evolution over the last 5 years is tracked back. At the beginning the EMRS - fall meeting hosted 2 symposia and about 200 participants. In 2006 there are almost 750 abstracts, 10 symposia, plenary lectures and 4 associated events. The quality of services offered to participants increases every year, as well. Attempt is made to track the main trends in materials research based on analysis of the submitted in the 5 years thousands of abstracts. The success of the imitative was possible due to good cooperation of the Organizers in Warsaw and E_MRS headquarters in Strasburg, financial support from many sources, very good work and engagement of over 100 symposia chairpersons, support of the Warsaw University of technology and Ministry of Science and Education in Poland, as well as hard work of all participants that presented oral and poster presentations. Future plans are presented. |
