Abstract

Cadmium sulfide nanoparticles are one of the perspective materials for application in optoelectronics, in high-speed computing systems developing, biomarkers. One of the main properties of these systems are photoluminescence(PL) properties. In the given work it was investigated PL of nanoparticles doped with rare-earth elements. Doping process conducted as follows. After CdS nanoparticles growth by SILAR it was realized sorption of ions of rare-elements. The results of investigations show that doping with chrome ions intensity of PL decreases. During doping with praseodymium in excitation spectrum the maximum of excitation and curve behavior don’t changed (λ = 470 nm). During Pr doping in 2 growth cycles in the long-wave region of emission spectrum appear a new line with maximum. In 4 growth cycle after alloying intensity of peak with Еmax = 1.81 eV increases . Intensity of emission spectrum during Pr doping increases to ~ 1.5 time. In 12 growth cycle samples emission spectrum has complicated character on interphase interaction. In all samples character of temperature dependence identical and by increasing of temperature PL intensity increases sharply.
