Abstract

Cadmium sulphide and selenide nanoparticles are one of the perspectives materials in nanoscience. These materials could be used as biomarkers in medicine, production of high speed devices, catalysis. It was developed different methods of cadmium sulphide and selenide nanoparticles obtaining: such as, successful ion layered adsorption and reaction (SILAR), ultrasonic irradiation, matrix crystallization and etc. In given work we consider investigation of possibility of CdSxSe1-x nanoparticles growth by combination of SILAR and ion-exchange methods. Firstly it was formed cadmium sulphide nanoparticles in polymer matrix with different sizes: 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 growth cycles. Then obtaining samples immersed electrolyte solution containing ions of selenium Se2-. Band gap measurement shows that band gap of all samples is decreased. In high concentration and long persistence time band gap of particles approached to value of bulk crystals CdSe Eg= 1,74 eV. It was investigated chemical compound of received structures with the help EDAX. Results of analysis show that by selecting concentration and ion-exchange time, chemical compound of CdSxSe1-x nanoparticles could be varied over a wide range.
