Abstract |
Title compounds were preliminary tested for their immunotropic activities in several experimental models such as: the secondary humoral immune response of mouse splenocytes to sheep red blood cells (SRBC), the proliferative response of splenocytes to concanavalin A and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced production of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) in cultures of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). Each of the four studied compounds showed different characteristics in affecting the tested immune parameters. Our studies on these activities and their potential application are discussed.
