In the present work nanostructured Cu, Ni, and TiNi-based alloys were investigated. Nanostuctured metals were produced using the techniques of severe plastic torsion deformation under high pressure. The critical points of different transformations of nanostructured metals were determined by means of the new measurement technique of current vs temperature dependence in the metal-electroactive polymer-metal system. The obtained results were compared with the temperature dependencies of electrical resistance and microhardness and the existing data of in situ X-ray diffraction and the electron transmission microscopy measurements. Experimental data are discussed in the framework of the model, which take into account the changing in the work function of nanostructured metals near the critical temperature region and involving the mechanisms of the interface metal-polymer interaction.
