Abstract

The lipids and lipid peroxidation products in blood serum were studied for rabbits and patients at transplantation of tendon bioimplants.
It was established that at earlier post-surgery period the lipid exchange for animals with autoplastics was characterized by decreasing of cholesterol (CS) contents and by the acute processes of lipids peroxidation which were pronounced for animals with alloplastics. It was revealed the decrease of very low density lipids (VLDL) content and increase of high density lipids (HDL) content as well. It gave evidence to development of acute phase processes.
At 14-21 days was noted the further rise of HDL content at the expense of LDL decrease in blood serum for rabbit with autoplastic that in the whole gave evidence to inflammatory process progressing. For animals with alloplastics the increase of VLDL at the expense of LDL was noted. These data of lipids variation bear evidence to active mobilization process of lipids and lipolysis due to the pronounced inflammatory process than for animals with autoplastic.
The 45th day of experiment was characterized for animals with autoplastic by normal indexes of CS and lower level of triglycerides (TG). Moreover the HDL and VLDL contents were more than normal limits, and in whole this has characterized the appearance of inflammatory process. For animals with alloplastics (at the same period) the decreasing the CS and TG contents relatively to normal were revealed. But in deference on animals with autoplastics lipoproteins content was characterized by increasing of LDL and this was evidence about aterogenic changes of vessels.
Thus the peculiarities of lipid content change in blood serum could be as evaluation criteria of inflammatory reaction character during post-surgery period at bioimplants application.
