Abstract |
A K2(Ti8O17)/ TiO2 composite bio-ceramic coating on the surface of titanium was prepared successfully by an in situ electrochemical technique. During emersion in simulated body liquid the surface topography, microstructure, composition-of-phases, and the bioactivity of the coating were evaluated. The test results indicated that the K2(Ti8O17)/ TiO2 bio-ceramic composite coating has fine biocompatibility and bioactivity. |
