Abstract. The paper presents characteristics of geometric surface
texture of industrial ceramics subjected to grinding under conditions
of plastic material-removal. Investigations were carried out on the
setup designed for microgrinding with nanometric feed-in. The authors
of the paper put forward a proposal for directing further
investigations towards obtaining the surface with still better
operational properties and developing the fundamentals for new methods
of industrial grinding.
