Abstract

The aim of the nanotechnology thematic network "Nanoforum" is to promote
and raise the standard of nanotechnology activities throughout Europe,
to strengthen links across disciplines and countries, and to promote
Europe as a home for world-class research. Nanoforum is fully funded by
the European Commission and undertakes a wide variety of activities
including conferences; workshops; seminars on funding and investment
opportunities; seminars on career options in nanotechnologies; summer
schools to provide further training; reports on nanotechnology topics of
interest - accessible to the general public; and, central to all these
activities - the maintenance of a Nanoforum website (www.nanoforum.org)
to disseminate information.
