Abstract

The aim of our work was syntheses of 6-nitroquipazine and 3'-methyl-6-nitroquipazine analogues conected by butyl chain with four imids (ftalimide, glutarimide, 3,3-dimethylglutarimide and 3,3-tetramethyleneglutarimide) as a potential antidepresant drugs.

Six final products were examined for inhibition of serotonin transporter and as a antagonists of 5HT1A. For comparison imipramin and serotonin (5HT) were used as a standard compaunds. The best results were obserwed for 3'-methyl-6-nitroquipazine conected with 3,3-dimethylglutarimide.
