Abstract

The advantages and disadvantages of the several reactors used in our working group are analysed. These are:

Reactor used in Warsaw: Microwave&High Pressure batch reactor

Reactor used in Nottingham: Continuous flow high pressure reactor

Reactor used in Bordeaux: "High Pressure Bomb"

Reactor used in Bucharest: Hydrothermal autoclave

Reactor used in Bar-Ilan: Microwave - low pressure, and Ultrasound.

The discussion will have a brain-storming character.

Examples of nanopowders made in the framework of COST collaboration are given.

In conclusion, the fields of application of the above reactors will be pointed out and possibility to scale up the production of nanopowders for each of them discussed.
