Tight-binding model: a quantum mechanical tool to study economic time series.

Abstract
We study the localization properties of the tight-binding equation un+1+un-1+Vn=Eun, where the on-site potential Vn is neither periodic nor random, but is aperiodic or pseudorandom. We carry out numerical work involving direct diagonalization to study localization properties of the model.
