Every year comes on the market of products containing nanomaterials in its composition. One of the fastest growing markets in the medical and pharmaceutical market. Smart drugs, targeted therapies, polymeric tissue implants - these are just some of the examples of nanostructures. One of the largest areas of applications of nanotechnology is the market disinfectants. The flagship product of nanotechnology in this area are nanoparticles of silver and copper, which have a very strong biocidal effect. In our presentation we present the applicability of these nanostructures for surface protection against the development of pathogens.
