Abstract

In this work investigation of optical near field along the fiber needle’s surface and its action on the different chemical substances are experimentally studied.  For that purpose the process of photochemical vapour deposition is conducted in the chamber of scanning electron microscope that allow observe the results of the experiment before and right after the deposition.

Also the possibility of nonresonance chemical vapour deposition and overcoming the diffraction limit on the size of deposited structures are examined.

The process of electromagnetic radiation propagation in the fiber nanoneedle is studied via numerical simulations. The obtained results are in a good agreement with experimental data of nanostructures’ deposition on the needle’s surface.
